a. Application to Telfilm is open to the whole public. Restrictions are only given under the following conditions:

1. An application has been made to a program that is only oriented to a certain group
2. A student has documented psychological or behavioral behavior that may put the staff and other students off
3. A student requires certain specialist support that is not available at Telfilm

b. Thus provided that you are confident that you have met all the requirements, you are welcome to reapply.

a. The following are required to be submitted together with your application form

1. A non-refundable deposit whose amount varies depending on the program that you belong to
2. A signed agreement to the rules of residence
3. A signed release form which allows Telfilm to use student videos
4. A signed Student Information & Medical Form which details any dietary or medical needs that a student may have. The form should also contain emergency contacts

Actual film making is usually done as the last part of the program and it is done between the 18^th and 27^th week of the program. It is usually done as a graduation project.

Information sessions and guided tours are offered for students’ right after admission into the school before they begin undertaking their specific programs.

We do offer extremely intense practical lessons at the school that are geared towards ensuring that the students get the full filming experience. Our practical lessons involve the students going out into the field and having to film something. Students get to learn a lot about how to frame shots and also make use of the natural lighting to produce great shots.

b. Admission into Telfilm is open to the whole public and it is only under the following circumstances that one cannot be admitted:

1. An application has been made to a program that is only oriented to a certain group
2. A student has documented psychological or behavioral behavior that may put the staff and other students off
3. A student requires certain specialist support that is not available at Telfilm.

c. There are three ways in which one can submit their application:

1. Via phone with a Telfilm official
2. Online registration
3. Via mail, print or fax

a. Typically our programs run for 27 weeks. The programs are split into two:

1. Weeks 1 to 17 that entail directing, cinematography, screenwriting, editing and post production.
2. Weeks 18 to 27 that entail graduation projects.
