The foundations of all great films are the same – They include a well thought out and written story, have a unique angle, and are appealing visually. This applies from TV commercials right through to cutting edge social documentaries. The TelFilm 6-month program has been designed to teach students the technical skills needed to achieve this, and to enhance their creativity.
Throughout the program, students will be taught about, and get hands-on experience with every aspect of the production process. From drafting and writing, they will direct and shoot before post-production. This program has been designed by film-making professionals who not only have the ability to teach the skills needed to be a filmmaker, but can provide valuable insights into how the film industry works, and what is needed to succeed in it.
On completion of the program, graduates receive a diploma, and also four well polished portfolio pieces they can use as a demo reel.
